A wonderful opportunity has arisen for this charity based in South Leeds. Joining a busy HR team as a temp, the successful candidate will be available immediately and be able to commit to this ongoing role. Supporting the HR function and wider team with all related tasks from recruitment, onboarding and all related administration, the successful candidate will work closely with the HR team and management to provide a high-quality support to all HR queries. On a day to day, your duties will include;

  • Draft and action correspondence related to low level employee issues,
  • Draft contracts and documents relating to changes in terms and conditions of employment
  • Calculate part and whole year annual leave entitlements
  • Collate and maintain the appropriate documentation for employees within their probation period
  • Manage the provision of employment and other references from the HR department
  • Provide telephone support to managers on the details of policies and procedures
  • Complete the leaver process; arranging and facilitating exit interviews and analysing the information received to help inform future recruitment processes.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the DBS renewal process for existing staff
  • Co-ordinate and manage right to work checks
  • Maintain system records
  • Manage filing systems: paper and electronic

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a wonderful team who can offer support, training and inclusivity. Agile working is an option, with one day from home following a period of training, office hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday.
