Installations Coordinator

TRC Group have the pleasure of working on behalf of our client to appoint their next Installations Coordinator.

This position is available due the company having experienced staggering growth in the last 18 months and are expanding the team with the new role if Installations Coordinator for that reason.

As an Installations Coordinator, you will be responsible for;

  • overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of domestic solar installations across the North of England and Midlands.
  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various operational processes, including project management, logistics, customer service, and team coordination.
  • Your primary objective will be to streamline operations, optimise efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end project management process, from post customer onboarding to final installation, payment and commissioning of residential solar systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and negotiate favourable pricing and terms.
  • Optimise logistics operations to minimise costs and maximise efficiency in transportation and warehousing.

Customer Service and Support:

  • Ensure high-quality customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with sales and customer support teams to resolve any issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

Team Management and Coordination:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of surveyors and installation crews, installation crews

The Candidate

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the residential solar industry or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Sound knowledge of solar energy systems, installation processes, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Candidates must be commutable to Leeds
