The Junior Bid Writer holds a pivotal position in orchestrating and spearheading the creation of contract bids and proposals. Their responsibilities include ensuring adherence to standards, maintaining quality, and fostering competitiveness. They work in collaboration with various teams to formulate responses, oversee timelines, and streamline the bidding process to efficiently capture new business prospects.



About the Role

  • Support the end-to-end bid process, including proposal development, pricing, and submission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and resources for bids.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Review bid requirements and ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and guidelines.
  • Work closely with various internal teams (sales, technical, finance) to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Coordinate and support bid meetings, including kick-off meetings and progress reviews.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients during the bid process.
  • Monitor and track bid performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in proposal writing, or related roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of juggling multiple bids concurrently.
  • Proficiency in document creation and formatting tools (MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and persuasive content.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
