Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for this omni channel fashion retail business. The business has over 100 stores and strong presence online and also via their members club.

The business is looking to add to their omnichannel & trading team to drive forward their stores & online strategy to provide a seamless Customer Experience.

This role is to work with the Buyer to maximise sales and margins within the Womenswear ranges, in line with the Company strategy.

The roles and responsibilities of this Merchandiser position -

  • To be pivotal in driving department strategy in planning, managing and achieving the targeted measures of sales, stock turn, markdown and profit .
  • working closely with the buyer to construct commercial ranges.
  • To manage the in-season Open-to-Buy down to category level using the WSSI and Compass.
  • By effective range planning and markdown control, manage Terminal Stocks to keep within budgeted levels.
  • Consistently manage the supply base, monitoring commitment and Intake, and to work closely with the supplier to minimise lead times, create flexibility and improve availability.
  • To train, motivate and develop the Junior / Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandise Administrator

The requirements of this Merchandiser position -

  • You are operating at a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser level
  • Ideally has come from a fashion background but open to different other retail sectors
  • A proven self-starter
  • Excellent knowledge of forecasting principles
  • Has worked closely in driving a a department or company strategy and leading a team
  • Has management experience or leading an AM or above candidate
  • Excellent knowledge of forecasting principles
  • Strong stakeholder experience
