The position is for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical in the Leeds area with a salary of up to £54,600.
The role involves supporting the Engineering Manager with reactive and planned maintenance while ensuring high standards are met.
Candidates should have a minimum of HNC/ONC/HND/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, along with knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is preferred but not mandatory.
The job requires diagnosing faults, performing maintenance activities safely, and implementing improvements in plant and equipment.

Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for a skilled Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to support the Engineer Manager inreactive and planned maintenance and ensure high standards are met. You will be diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Preventative, planned and reactive maintenance

Identify and highlight potential equipment failures

Perform maintenance activities safely and in compliance with safety regulations.

Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

Use problem-solving techniques to effect repairs and resume productionquickly.

Identify and implement improvements in plant and equipment.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

HNC/ ONC/ HND / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations

Preferably with FMCG background experience would be advantageous
