We’re looking for an Operational Resilience Manager to join our growing Risk and Resilience team. 

Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Independently owning the successful delivery of parts of the UK Operational Resilience programme to a high standard and to ensure compliance with the FCA regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitating and supporting stakeholders at various levels within the UK business to complete the quarterly global Business Continuity programme requirements.
  • Preparing high-quality papers, reports, and MI dashboard outputs for risk and resilience governance committees and forums.
  • Contributing to the development of detailed assessment scenarios that critically evaluate the business’s ability to recover from a short and long-term business disruption. 
  • Building productive relationships with colleagues and peers within other assurance teams (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Data Governance, Security, Operational Risk, Issue Management etc.) to ensure data sharing and maximum efficiency of assurance processes and create a ‘joined-up’ approach to Operational Resilience.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of operating within an Operational Resilience and /or risk management function (or similar) of a FCA regulated firm.
  • Methodical, thorough and diligent, with strong attention to detail and strong documentation and report writing and presentation skills.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills to be able to manage completion of multiple activities tasks within set deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and use standard Microsoft products to a high standard, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible with ability to work outside core working hours for crisis/incident response activities when necessary.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Broad risk and / or risk experience e.g. a Senior Analyst looking for the next step in your career where you can own and shape deliverables that add business value.
  • Professional CBCI certification or prepared to complete the training and certification within the first year in role.
