We are currently recruiting a Parts Advisor for a highly successful engineering business based in Leeds. Due to their continued progressive growth, diversification and further recent expansion into their new purpose built facility, my client currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Advisor / Stores Operative to further enhance and support operations and logistics.

Parts Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Placing a variety of orders with approved suppliers
  • Receiving goods
  • Using a picking list to identify products from internal stores/stock
  • Pick, check and pack items ready for dispatch
  • Producing the necessary paperwork for each individual package
  • Securely packaging items to arrive in excellent condition
  • Maintain accurate records using bespoke internal software system
  • Stock checks and inventory counts

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills
  • Be a forward-thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
  • Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet to resolve issues that may arise.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
