About the Role:As the Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large number of employees, including contractors under the CIS. Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume payroll for employees and contractors, including those under CIS.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
- Accurately manage payroll calculations, adjustments, and deductions.
- Handle end-to-end payroll functions, from data entry to reporting.
- Liaise with internal departments and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
- Support monthly and annual payroll reconciliations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in high-volume payroll processing, ideally within the construction or similar sectors.
- Understanding of CIS requirements and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Confident with payroll software (Sage payroll is a plus).
