Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PSHE lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, fostering their personal growth and well-being.
- Cover key areas such as mental health, relationships, financial literacy, careers, and citizenship.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, empathy, and decision-making skills.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes open discussion and respect for different perspectives.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure the PSHE curriculum aligns with the school's values and wider educational goals.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in PSHE education and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in PSHE and a commitment to supporting students' personal and social development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
