We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join our growing printing ink and coating team.

Production OperativeLeeds LS11 5LQ

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • £25,272 per annum, plus overtime at time plus 50%, Branch profit-related bonus (Min 1%, Max 8%), pension, performance-related Company share ownership scheme.
  • 40 hours per week, Mon – Fri
  • Some overtime to be expected

Wikoff are an Employee-owned printing ink and coating company which opened March 2011 in the UK. We have customers in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France and Germany and due to rapid expansion, we currently have a vacancy for a hard-working Production Operative who are capable at using their own initiative as well as part of our small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coating batch production; weighing, mixing and filling
  • Quality control of batches, including colour
  • Booking of batch tickets into our electronic system
  • Order picking and despatch
  • General warehouse duties
  • Some occasional delivery driver duties

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous production experience
  • Some IT experience, but training will be given.
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Driving license
  • Counterbalance fork life experience
  • Conscientious and reliable

Although full training will be given, experience in batch manufacture within the general chemicals industry is a distinct advantage for any candidate.
