They offer a comprehensive range of products and services, and they are proud of their long-standing reputation for exceptional quality, service and reliability.Following a period of growth and development they are seeking a high-performing QHSE Manager to own their QHSE strategy over the next period of growth. They have an extensive range of facilities on-site, meaning they have total control over quality, delivery and lead times.This is a great opportunity to mould and shape the QHSE function of a growing business, with the full support of the senior leadership team to implement best practice and streamline processes across the organisation.Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOELocation: Leeds, on-siteWhat you'll need:

Experience designing, deploying and operating UKAS ISO9001 Quality Management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience with EN1090 standards, knowledge of HSE requirements and principles, and the ability to implement safe working practices.
Capability to adapt to changing circumstances, excellent problem solving and innovation skills and ability to plan and organise independently.
Ability to communicate and present to a range of audiences, interpret policies and legislation and apply a pragmatic approach to solutions.
Proven history of driving innovation and managing the change process.
Effective communication skills, with gravitas when influencing groups and teams.

It would also be advantageous to have:

Experience within a welding or metal fabrication business.
Experience in Health & Safety management (IOSH, ISO45001).
Experience in Environment & Sustainability (ISO14001).
Previous management experience.

What you'll be doing:

Take responsibility for QHSE across the business, establish and maintain all company accreditations and drive continuous improvement, keeping QHSE at the heart of the business.
Establish and maintain a robust quality control framework, overseeing inspection processes and conducting internal quality audits.
Define the organisation's QHSE policies and objectives in collaboration with senior management and communicate these objectives throughout the organisation.
Record and investigate all accidents and near misses and identify potential QHSE risks.
Analyse QHSE data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Provide training to employees on standards, procedures, and best practice to ensure a full understanding of quality requirements.
Play an active role within the company's senior leadership team, driving continuous improvement and working with various departments to resolve quality related issues.
