Key responsibilities of an RE teacher

Controlling the classroom and ensuring that the schools behaviour policy is being followed.
Teaching RE to a high standard to students across KS3 and KS4.
Engaging with other members of the team, sharing ideas and contributing towards the RE curriculum.
Track student's progress and help those who may be falling behind.
Create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their religious beliefs.

Requirements to be an RE teacher.

Right to work in the UK
Qualified teaching status (QTS)
Extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of RE
A relevant degree related to RE
