Are you a dynamic and experienced Early Years Practitioner with a passion for leading teams? We are looking for a Room Leader to join our client's nursery in Horsforth, leading the Toddlers Room with energy, creativity, and a fun, bubbly personality!

About the Role: As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Toddlers Room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children. You will bring your wealth of ideas and over 2 years of management experience to lead and inspire your team, while building strong relationships with parents, children, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Toddlers Room, providing high-quality care and learning experiences
  • Manage and support a team of Early Years Practitioners, encouraging professional development and teamwork
  • Plan and deliver a creative and fun curriculum, tailored to the needs of the children
  • Ensure all nursery policies and safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress
  • Monitor the development of each child, supporting their emotional, physical, and social growth

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of management experience within an Early Years setting
  • A fun, bubbly personality with a passion for engaging with toddlers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • A creative approach to learning and a wealth of fresh ideas to bring to the room
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
