NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teacher who has a passion for working with pupils with additional needs. This provision caters for pupils with Social and Emotional Mental health needs who may also have additonal needs including: Autism, ADHD and Learning difficulties. The school is based in Leeds LS12 and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

The school caters for pupils from 11-19 years and they're seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher with a background or passion in working with students with Special Needs or Mental Health needs who is seeking a new full-time position. This is a varied role so you will cover different core subjects with the pupils.

We are seeking a candidate who has a real passion and drive to support students with additional needs and who is motivated to make a difference.

Successful applications will have:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher with both ECT years completed
  • A passion and interest in teaching pupils with SEMH
  • Strong Behaviour management
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
