Your New Role as Semi-Senior Accountant:

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients, assisting with the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and VAT submissions. You'll work closely with senior staff to deliver a high standard of service, ensuring all client accounts are completed accurately and within deadlines. The role will also involve supporting audits, liaising with clients on financial matters, and providing advice on tax and accounting queries.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will assist in the completion of VAT submissions, manage client queries, and ensure all compliance requirements are met. You will support audit work as needed and work closely with senior accountants to ensure the smooth delivery of client accounts. Building strong relationships with clients and providing clear, expert advice will be key aspects of your role.

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will be part-qualified or qualified by experience, with previous experience working in an accountancy practice. You should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and good communication skills. Experience in managing client accounts and preparing financial statements is essential, and knowledge of accounting software will be advantageous.
