Our client, medium-sized construction consultancy, is looking to expand their team in Leeds with a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building surveys, condition assessments, and defect analysis.
- Prepare detailed reports, schedules of condition, and dilapidation reports.
- Manage refurbishment and restoration projects from inception to completion.
- Provide expert advice on building regulations and compliance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior surveyors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Chartered status with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor within a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
