Senior Buyer – Leeds – Permanent – To £50,000Established and highly entrepreneurial business in Leeds are currently enjoying a sustained period of growth and hence are seeking to add heads to their operation. The role of Senior Homewares Buyer has been created as a result of this sustained growth, as well as the desire to maintain the current trajectory. Reporting into the MD, the role has some excellent headroom to expand and offers a genuinely one of a kind opportunity to shaoe your own career and earnings.The successful applicant for the role will have substantial and demonstrable experience in procurement, but ideally within homewares procurement as well. Any experience of working within a wholesale or distribution-centric environment would be extremely beneficial.Package & Benefits:

Senior Buyer responsibilities:

Reporting directly into the Managing Director, so excellent senior stakeholder endorsement
Opportunity to develop the role and desk as you see fit and influence at a senior level
Key interface with existing suppliers
Identifying, sourcing and negotiating terms with new suppliers
Internal stakeholder management including sales and warehousing
Entirely autonomous ownership of your own profit centre and P&L
Attending trade fairs with suppliers and building relationships

Prior and demonstrable experience of working with suppliers in a fast-paced environment to secure best pricing
