Office Location: North Leeds

  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes - 3-days offices, 2-days WFH

Salary/Package: £45-50k DOE + attractive bonus & full company benefits

The Role: You will provide technical paraplanning expertise to private wealth focused financial planners focusing on high-level investments, pensions and life planning advice. Duties include:

  • Liaise with product providers, examine policy information, and obtain client specific illustrations and comparisons to support the analysis of data for client asset reviews.
  • Undertake research both independently and with the Planner to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs.
  • Produce clear, compliant, and technically accurate recommendation reports.
  • Completion of pension, investment, and tax calculations as appropriate.
  • Assist with the completion of annual platform and product due diligence as directed by the
  • Investment Committee.
  • Work closely with the Client Services Team and Financial Planners to deliver a seamless, end to end service for Clients.
  • Develop good working relationships with product providers, technology suppliers, team members, Clients and Advisers.

The Person: You must be QCF level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum) and ideally be heading towards Chartered. You will also bring a demonstrable track record of managing paraplanning workloads for high performing financial advisers and HNW private wealth clientele. You will:

  • Hold 5+ years’ experience within paraplanning and/or technical support
  • Bring a strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Have a background in conducting thorough product research to provide suitable recommendations
  • Have experience in effectively answering technical queries
