We have a fantastic exclusive role for a Senior Wastewater Network Modeller for their Leeds office. This consultancy is a multidisciplinary and award-winning client who have a brilliant reputation within the Engineering industry.

You will be responsible for the direction of projects working with other disciplines within the water team and overseeing and mentoring junior hydraulic modellers within the team.

The role:

  • Technical development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions (including hydraulic modelling and analysis, model use studies, optioneering and cost-benefit analysis studies, to time, budget and the required quality).
  • Leading a team to build, maintain and manage strong and collaborative working relationships with clients.
  • Scoping and developing hydraulic modelling approaches
  • Undertaking technical reviews of hydraulic models
  • Preparation of technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Mentoring and technical development of others in fluvial and pluvial modelling
  • Support business development through identifying prospective opportunities and leading on the preparation of proposals

What you need to succeed:

  • You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.
  • You'll have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment and be able to demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities (including use of InfoWorks ICM).
  • You will also have experience in the management and development of staff and be able to provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment, with an excellent client service focus.
