Award winning well-respected national insurance broker require an SME Account Handler to strengthen its existing team.
As Account Handler you will place and renew business on behalf of a range of small enterprises across multiple industries. The role includes handling renewals, mid-term changes, new business enquiries and dealing with general client queries.
You will ideally have gained some previous general insurance experience either with an insurance broker or an underwriter for this role. Specific insurance knowledge in dealing with small business insurance products such as PI, Liability, Commercial Property and Motor Fleet would also be beneficial. Strong client relationship skills are essential for this role, with the ability to build high levels of rapport over the telephone. Its also important that you can demonstrate a positive proactive nature, and be able to negotiate effectively.
