We are looking for qualified Early Years Practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent) to join our fantastic team, working across multiple private day nurseries in Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
- Support children's learning and development through play-based experiences.
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a positive nursery experience.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records in line with EYFS requirements.
- Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and nappy changing where necessary.
- Encourage positive behaviour management strategies to create a nurturing environment.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are always adhered to.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (Essential).
- Previous experience working in Early Years settings (Private day nurseries or school nurseries).
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different nursery settings.
- Up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Training (desirable but not essential).
