About the job:
We are looking for a Tape Edger to join our client, producing mattresses to precise specifications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Inspect finished products for any flaws and maintaining and operating tape edging machines and tools, you will ensure Health & Safety guidelines are always followed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating tape edging machines.
- Inspecting completed mattresses.
- Keeping your workspace tidy and safe.
- Hitting production goals.
About you:
- Proven experience in tape edging.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift mattresses.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in upholstery or sewing is a plus but not essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure with a strong work ethic.
