Teacher of Business Studies

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Business Studies to join a dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across KS3, KS4 and KS5, inspiring students to develop their knowledge, skills, and interest in the world of business and enterprise.

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business Studies at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

• Develop and implement schemes of work that reflect the curriculum and exam board specifications (e.g. GCSE, BTEC, A-Level).

• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

• Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and supports all students to achieve their potential.

• Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extra-curricular activities, trips, and enrichment programmes.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and best teaching practice in Business Studies.

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A degree in Business Studies or a related subject.

• A proven track record of successful teaching and student outcomes.Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Enterprise education.

• Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour.

Desirable:

• Experience teaching BTEC or vocational business courses.

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and innovative teaching methods.

• Willingness to contribute to whole-school initiatives and continuous professional development.
