We are seeking a Technical Lead & Wrapping Operative - Headboards to work within the
Headboard Department, Leedson a 3-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will wrap the finished product in the Headboard section ensuring work is
visually checked to match the production order and ensuring quality is delivered throughout all
stages of manufacturing.

Hiring Manager: Dean Wilkinson Team Leader, Headboards
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6.00am 4.00pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scan the finished products as wrapped.
  • Visually check the finished product: Ensuring the ticket and item match.
  • Ensure the work is wrapped to the correct priority and on time
  • Collect data for reject of product, yield, and scrap, and understand how to analyse this data.
  • Monitor quality of products, ensure all quality procedures are being correctly adhered to and feed back to the workforce.
  • Carry out, in line and of end of line Quality checks - documented on Production Tracking System
  • Resolve operational problems liaising with the Team Leader
  • To support the Team Leader role during absence and holidays

Key Skills & Experience:
  • FLT license essential
  • Have a good working knowledge of our products and their specifications.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all our manufacturing processes.
  • Familiar our production tracking and Product Tracking system.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to self-manage your time during the working day & work well under pressure
