Capable Group is a leading provider of traffic management solutions, committed to ensuring safety and efficiency on our roads. We are currently seeking a number of skilled and dedicated Traffic Management Operatives to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in temporary traffic management and road safety, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and maintaining temporary traffic management systems in accordance with NHSS standards.
- Conducting mobile lane closures and other traffic management operations.
- Ensuring the safety of road users and site personnel at all times.
- Conducting site assessments and risk evaluations to determine the appropriate traffic management plans.
- Setting up, managing, and dismantling traffic management equipment and signage.
- Collaborating with team members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth traffic flow and project efficiency.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid NHSS certification.
- Proven experience in traffic management, specifically with mobile lane closures.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to traffic management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Desirable Skills:
- First Aid certification.
- Previous experience with a range of traffic management schemes and equipment.
