Are you currently seeking a 6 Month FTC working for a leading insurer, as a Underwriting Team leader in their renewals division? This is an amazing opportunity to gain knowledge of the insurance market and will be dealing with a range of professional and management risks, charity and non - profit organisations in addition to day to day managing of the team. As Team leader you will be required to manage and monitor aspects of workflow within the team and deal with financial targets including renewal retention, cross and upselling. In addition you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the renewal team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and monitor both team and individual performance taking action where necessary to improve.
  • Set SMART goals, managing resource, prioritising workflow and reviewing key deliverables.
  • Coach and develop the team to a high level of performance.

The ideal candidate will have a few years experience, dealing with day to day management and must have general insurance/commercial knowledge.
