We have an exciting opportunity for an Upper Limb Assembly Technician to join our existing team at Head Office.
Responsibilities:
- Work to production schedules and manufacture products to specification and drawing tolerances.
- Ensure all production systems and working practices are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Assemble Upper Limb prosthetic productsÂ
Assisting other departments within the business regarding engineering requirements.
- Working as part of a team, sharing information with colleagues, to ensure the products are produced in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Adhere to strict health and safety rules and environmental policies.
- Using 5’s principles maintaining good housekeeping methods.
- Partake in team meetings when required to discuss any issues relating to assembly, and / or new products.Â
What we are looking for:
The role mainly involves precision assembly / fitting work, so a broad skillset is essential.
Ideally an Apprentice trained mechanical / electrical based technician.
Any of the below skills are desirable:
Bench fitting / Assembly (ESSENTIAL)
Soldering
Milling / Turning / Drilling
Crimping
Silver Soldering / Brazing
Tig Welding
Polishing
Electrical Programming / Testing
