- A salary of c£47,000 - 57,000 depending upon relevant experience
- Manage and oversee the VAT team, ensuring timely submission of quarterly VAT returns and annual adjustments
- Work on addressing priority tax issues and maximising VAT recoveries
- Provide technical tax support for major capital investments and international expansion
- Lead VAT compliance audits and implement system/process changes to reflect new legislation
- Design and implement a new VAT training strategy for staff across the organization
- Expertise in tax legislation and strong analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues at all levels
- Experience of working within a large complex organization would be helpful, but is not essential
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing conflicting workloads and deadlines
