Working on behalf of my client, I am looking for Waste Recycle Operatives/Sorters to work for a National Waste Management company based in Leeds on the Afters shift.
The role will involve working in a Recycling MRF Plant sorting through and discarding unwanted items fed through a fast-paced conveyor belt system. The role will only suit those who don’t mind getting their hands dirty and who can perform repetitive tasks at a fast pace. Candidates must be warned that this job isn't for the feint hearted.
The ideal candidate:
-Able to work at a fast pace
-Must be hard working
-Can perform repetitive tasks
-Has to be reliable and punctual
-Good at listening and taking notice of instructions and advice
-Not put off by strong smells
Living locally or having access to your own transport is a must for this shift as due to finishing times, Public Transport will not be available at the end of the shifts.
The working week will be 40hrs, 3.30pm to 12am from Monday to Friday. This role is advertised as a long-term Temporary role with a Pay Rate of £11.65p/hr. Overtime is paid at x1.5 after 8hrs and on Saturdays and x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
