Job Title: Yard Operative

Location: innergy LPG Ltd, Gelderd Rd, Gildersome, Leeds, LS27 7LG

Reports To: Logistics & Distribution Supervisor

Job Purpose: To ensure the efficient and safe operation of the yard, including serving customers, managing stock, operating forklifts, and loading/unloading deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers in the yard, providing excellent customer service.
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload deliveries.
  • Offload deliveries and locate stock in the yard.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading for deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard environment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate stock management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform general maintenance and housekeeping tasks in the yard.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Person Specification

  • Full Driving license
  • FLT trained
  • This is a physically demanding role due to the nature of our product range, so applicants must be able to lift and move heavy items
  • No DR/DD/IN infringements
  • Committed to Delivering high levels of customer delight
