Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative looking for an employed, permanent role with a successful and growing business? We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance / Garden Maintenance Operative who lives within easy commute to North Leeds area to join a small team. General duties will involve carrying out grass cutting, weed control, hedge pruning, border maintenance, leaf clearance, winter gritting, litter picking, and landscape clearance as required. Details:

Permanent / Full-time
£12.50-£14.50 per hour (equiv. to £26k-£30k per annum based on experience)
Mon-Fri / 8am-4pm
20 days holiday + bank holidays – to increase with length of service

Experience and Skills needed:

Previous experience in grounds / garden maintenance
Good communication skills and committed to the best customer service
A passion for Horticulture/Gardening
Valid UK Driving licence
PA1 & PA6 spraying license (preferred)
Be able to confidently use mobile phone technology to record work activity.
Have high standards and strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that all sites and external grounds are maintained to an exceptionally high and reputable standard
General ground maintenance duties using horticultural machinery such as powered mowers, strimmers and hand tools.
Landscape improvement duties to enhance sites.
Additional duties dependant on client site.
