Maintenance Handyperson:We are looking for a personable and conscientious Maintenance Handyperson for a student accommodation site in Leeds. Job Details

Annual salary starts at £26,280 rising to £26,780 after a successful 3-month probationary period.
Full-time / Permanent, working 5 days per week
40 hours per week (including paid 30-minute lunch break)

In this role, you will be responsible for light maintenance around the property and carry out general jobs to upkeep the property to a high standard. The role of Maintenance Handyperson would suit an individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving and likes a variety of duties during the working day. You will need to be competent in basic electrical, plumbing, joinery, and painting works. You will also need to have a flexible approach, as there may be emergencies outside of normal hours. The role will also involve lifting and carrying, so you’ll need a good level of physical health. A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. A full DBS check will also be mandatory, and the application will be made before the job start date. About You

Previous hands-on work experience in a maintenance / handyperson role.
Ideally be a qualified electrician (18th Edition) or have held some level of certified electrical experience.
Speedy and effective reaction to problems and queries.
Excellent level of customer service and friendly personality.
Conscientious and will carry out work following health and safety guidelines.
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
Ability to think through a problem to resolve issues.
Able to work alone or as part of a team.
