Health & Safety Administrator

Location: Birstall, West YorkshireSalary: Up to £26k DOEHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

Join our HSEQ team! We're looking for a passionate, proactive individual to support our H&S Manager and team. No experience required - just a keen interest in health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HSEQ admin and handle employee queries.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture.
  • Maintain and update IMS documentation.
  • Support health and safety policy development and monitoring.
  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain training records and arrange external courses.
  • Assist with Health & Safety Plans and CDM matters.
  • Distribute safety, health, and environmental materials.
  • Encourage and review safety suggestions.
  • Research and collate information for reports and policy updates.
  • Administer computer and database systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accurate data recording.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
