Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop our clients HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations in the hazardous waste sector. You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment, minimizing risk, and fostering a strong safety culture across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies in line with industry regulations (e.g., COSHH, HSE, Environmental Agency guidelines)
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Deliver HSE training to employees and promote a safety-first culture
  • Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvements in safety performance
  • Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and liaise with regulatory bodies
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics
What We’re Looking For
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety
  • Proven experience in a hazardous waste, chemical, or environmental services environment
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
