Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are supporting a leading SEN provision in Leeds who are growing their team in September and are looking for a new SEN HLTA to join them.

This could suit someone who has worked with SEN learners within a mainstream setting or someone from an alternative background who has transferrable skills.

This is a permanent appointment.

Job Title Responsibilities

• Support learners with SEMH, Autism and other complex learning needs
• Cover lessons when class teacher is absent
• Support with planning alongside class teacher
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Work alongside other support behaviour mentors, teaching assistants and other support staff across school
• Support the class teacher, SLT and wider school community

Job Title Requirements

• Experience working with and supporting learners with SEN
• HLTA Qualification
• A good understanding of SEN
• Full time availability from September
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
