Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Location: Leeds

An established food manufacturer is looking for an experienced Hygiene Manager to oversee hygiene operations across two busy production sites. Also, you get to work Monday to Friday and (believe it or not) work in the daytime and sleep at night time.

This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, detail-focused, and confident managing teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

The Role:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and train hygiene staff across day and night shifts.
  • Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to meet food safety regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Collaborate with other departments to address hygiene challenges.
  • Organisation: Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and equipment to support operations.
  • Standards: Develop and enforce hygiene policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of hygiene management experience in food manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Flexibility to oversee both day and night operations.

A hygiene-related certification is desirable but not essential.
