What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare & Innovate: Develop comprehensive learning materials, online resources, and laboratory practicals.
  • Teach & Inspire: Deliver engaging and informative scheduled teaching sessions.
  • Assess & Design: Create and evaluate assessment tasks, ensuring alignment with validation documents.
  • Support & Supervise: Provide general support for student learning, including placement supervision.
  • Oversee Modules: Where appropriate, manage modules within relevant programmes of study.
Your Expertise:
  • Clinical Specialism: Demonstrate extensive knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
    • Cellular Pathology
    • Clinical Genetics
    • Clinical Immunology
  • Qualifications: Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) or Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Professional Membership: Eligibility for membership of Advance HE (or within 6 months of appointment).
  • Teaching Certification: PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in HE, academic professional apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification (or expectation to achieve this within 2 years of appointment).
