Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant (TA) - Leeds

Are you passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive impact on young minds? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Leeds on a full-time basis starting in September 2024. This role specifically focuses on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and requires expertise and/or training in Read Write Inc. Phonics.

At this primary school, they believe in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our pupils that attend the setting and are committed to providing high-quality education equipping young learners with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed lifelong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils.
  • Utilising Read Write Inc. Phonics strategies to enhance literacy development.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting, in particular with EYFS.
  • Training and/or experience in Read Write Inc. Phonics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
