KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Leeds
Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant primary schools in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in the classroom setting.
• Work with small groups of pupils, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with interventions to help pupils who may need extra support.
• Provide phonics support (experience in phonics is preferred).
• Offer social and emotional support to pupils, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as needed.
• Assist the teacher with managing pupil behaviour effectively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school setting is essential.
• Experience in phonics is desirable.
• A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
