Job Description:As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the educational and social development of children aged 5-7. You will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support to pupils, help manage classroom activities, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
- Support individual pupils and small groups with their learning.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils.
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and areas for development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Understanding of the KS1 curriculum and learning strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Relevant qualifications is desirable (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, NVQ Level 2/3)
