NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting for a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant position for a Primary School located in South Leeds (LS11). This role is to start ASAP and will be to support in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with Nursery and Reception pupils aged 2-4 years.

The role is based in a Primary School with responsibilities including:

  • Providing 1-1 support to pupils with additional needs in EYFS
  • To support in both the Nursery and Reception classrooms
  • Supporting children with academic learning and well-being both in and out of classroom
  • Required for lunch duty
  • Providing feedback to class teacher and parents
  • Managing behaviour, supporting children at all times, and providing intervention when required

Successful Applications Will Have

  • Level 3 Qualification
  • Experience working with Nursery/ Reception Children
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability for a permanent position
  • L2 Safeguarding Qualification (or willingness to complete one)
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
