We are currently working with a specialist setting in Leeds who require additional teaching assistants to join their team as soon as possible. The school caters for students who have special educational needs such as autism and is dedicated to ensuring that each child reaches their potential. We are looking for people who are confident, dynamic and adaptable. The schools main ethos centres around acknowledgement that all students are very different and therefore their education needs to reflect this.

You will work under the guidance of the class teacher to support students throughout the school day, academic and socially ensuring that their needs are met and they have access to learning. Your main role is to engage students in learning, using resources and learning methods that suit the child and tailoring the learning to cater for them.

You will be working full time, Monday to Friday (term time only).
