This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the workplace market.
About The Role:Days of Working: five out of seven days.Shift Pattern: 05:00am to 21:00pmYour main aim will be to supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff, undertaking daily inspections of the site and ensuring your team are working productively and safely in the Leeds, Doncaster, Grimsby, Sheffield. Chesterfield areas.You will also:
- Work with customer representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns.
- Organise rotas and complete wage and other paperwork
- Manage equipment, materials and stock levels
- Recruit train and develop staff
- Carry out general cleaning duties
- Control costs to ensure services are delivered within agreed budget
- Supervise quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained
- Conduct team briefings to cascade information to staff
- Ensure staff present a professional image
- Understand COSHH and risk assessments
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry
- Full driving licence
- A Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- A Security Industry Authority Licence would be desirable- but not essential as training will be given once the probation period has been passed.
