This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Director of HR Operations to lead strategic and operational initiatives within a large organisation. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, and will drive the successful delivery of comprehensive HR services across the organisation. Role is predominantly site based in Leeds with some flexibility.

Description

  • Lead strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organisation.
  • Managing 3 direct report and circa 35 indirect reports across the HR function.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support organisational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the management of HR systems and processes.
  • Drive the development and delivery of comprehensive HR services.
  • Manage and develop the HR team to ensure the provision of a professional HR service to the organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior management team to ensure HR strategies and activities support organisational goals.
  • Lead on HR projects, such as change management and organisational development initiatives.

Profile

A successful Director of HR Operations should ideally have:

  • A degree-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a senior HR role
  • Managed larger HR functions
  • Large scale Business experience (circa 2000 + employees)
  • A thorough understanding of HR systems and databases.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • A strong understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience of managing HR projects.
