Due to this growth & success, they are looking to recruit a newly created Head of Employee Relations on a permanent basis.About the opportunity;As the Head of Employee Relations, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast paced, values led organization, shaping our HR policies and ensuring compliance with ever-changing regulations. You'll be the go-to expert for employment law advice, guiding HR, management, and employees alike. With your knowledge and expertise, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a positive and productive work environment, driving business growth and success.The ideal candidate;The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in employment law. You should have experience representing employers at employment tribunals as the principal advocate, a strong understanding of TUPE regulations, and the ability to apply legal knowledge pragmatically in a commercial setting. Strong communication, advocacy, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Key Responsibilities;
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate legal risks and reduce tribunal claims.
  • Develop and implement the employee relations strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to resolve complex employee grievances and disputes.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, analysing and interpreting employment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, management, and employees.
