Invigorate Recruitment is recruiting a HR Manager to join a vibrant business on the outskirts of Leeds.
In this exciting, varied role, you’ll manage everything from workforce planning and performance management to employee relations and wellbeing. You’ll help drive the mission forward by working alongside their teams to ensure they are building a supportive, engaging environment where everyone is empowered to do their best work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Core HR: Manage all core HR areas, including employee relations, HR admin, learning and development, internal recruitment, employee engagement and maintaining and improving HR system.
- Regulation and Compliance; Be the expert in current regulation compliance, including professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including data protection, the Equality act and Health and Safety).
- Risk Management: Identify, manage and mitigate risks to the business working with the CEO to put measure in place to address areas of risk
- Recruitment Revolution: Partner with Line Managers to create role specs, select the right recruitment channels, and screen CVs and support interviews - bringing in fresh talent that fits their unique culture. Ensure Due Diligence for key partners is regularly reviewed.
- Smooth Onboarding: Make new hires feel right at home with a warm and efficient, onboarding experience.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training programs, book courses, and track employee development.
- Be the Go-To Expert: Provide responsive, best-practice HR guidance to Line Managers on things like sickness, disciplinaries, performance, and employment law compliance.
- Employee Relations: Tackle sensitive employee issues, including disputes and grievances, with tact and professionalism. Act as a facilitator and mediation to address conflict.
- Performance & Talent Management: Coordinate staff appraisals, track performance, and help with succession planning. Identify training opportunities that help our teams flourish.
- Day-to-Day HR Operations: Keep everything running smoothly, from maintaining the HR online management system to helping with payroll alongside our Finance team.
- Health & Wellbeing: Champion health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Company Benefits: Advise employees on company benefits and keep them informed.
- Smooth Transitions: Oversee the new starter and leaver processes to ensure seamless transitions.
- Engagement: Be the champion for engagement and welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify ongoing people related challenges using a data led approach and create solutions to address them
About You
You’re passionate about people - you’re a people-person, a relationship-builder, and a champion of employee wellbeing. You’ll have at least 5 years’ experience as an HR Advisor with a generalist remit, and you’ll have a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards it). You’re confident in managing a variety of HR tasks and can juggle priorities with ease, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
You’ve got a solid handle on Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and you know how to present data and insights with PowerPoint. Your knowledge of GDPR in HR is rock solid, and you understand the legal and compliance landscape that governs the industry.
