Title: Interim Payroll Manager (9 Month FTC)Salary: £65,000 p/aLocation: LeedsJGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add a Interim Payroll Manager to its team for a 9 Month FTC.Responsibilities include:
  • Setting up and monitoring team KPIs
  • Building a strong reputation for the payroll team within the business
  • Managing relationships with internal teams
  • Managing HRMC queries
  • Managing complex payroll requirements
  • Managing year end and other statutory returns
  • Ensuring all upgrades to payroll system are conducted in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all new pay elements are implemented and tested
  • Conduct integrity checks on the system
  • Participating in projects to develop processes identifying improvements
  • Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the role
Skills & experience required:
  • Payroll Manager experience
  • Experience with Sage payroll
  • Experience managing a team
  • Ability to identify problems and offer solutions
  • Strong numerical and advanced analytical and Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment
  • Detailed knowledge of UK legislation
  • Experience with ROI legislation is desirable
