Our client, based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for an ER Advisor on a temporary contract, for 3 months. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of employee relations case management.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for providing an operationally focused HR service by providing advice, support and managing employee relations cases
  • Being pro-active in resolving challenging situations whilst driving best fit and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies, and employment legislation
  • Working closely with key stakeholders across the business and advising them on current legislation, helping to identify risk and offer solutions
  • Providing HR guidance, support and expertise to managers and employees in line with policy, practice and legislation
  • Developing HR service desk system to ensure timely responses to HR calls and mailbox through to conclusion
  • Acting as facilitator with managers with Employee Relations Cases e.g. grievance, disciplinary, absence and capability investigations and hearings developing their capabilities and skills around people management
  • Assist with the development of key projects as identified by the business
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current legislation and are communicated across the business

Experience required:

  • Experience of handling employee relations cases for at least 2 years
  • To handle cases efficiently and effectively, ensuring compliance

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30am-5:30pm
