HR Advisor

Venn Group are currently partnered with a healthcare organisation in the West Yorkshire area who urgently require a full time HR Advisor for a 3 month contract.

This role is fully on site Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality HR advice and guidance directly to managers to facilitate the early resolution of difficult, complex or sensitive employee relations issues, ensuring that the risks associated with such cases are effectively managed.
  • Support the management of complex employee cases relating to disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence
  • Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and practices and review in line with legislation
  • Support managers with the induction and onboarding process for new starters
  • Working alongside Learning and Development to ensure relevant training and development is available for both clinical and non clinical departments
  • Co-ordinate a range of employee voice opportunities to support two-way communication which align to the employee engagement survey and results such as focus groups, colleague forums, feedback sessions, pulse surveys etc.
  • To oversee resource planning, providing advice to managers on recruitment campaigns, development of job descriptions/person specifications, and appropriate selection processes

Key skills and Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Substantial experience of providing Employee Relations advice and training, developing and coaching managers in line with best practice and employment law
  • Experience of interpreting policies, procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/recommendations.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
  • Working knowledge of TUPE and redundancy processes
