HR Advisor

Venn Group is collaborating with an award-winning multi-service provider in the UK facilities sector, located in West Yorkshire, to recruit a full-time HR Advisor for a inital 3-month contract.

Duties include:

  • Be responsible for providing an operationally focused HR service by providing advice, support and managing employee relations cases
  • Work with the HR Team to deliver the HR plan in line with the business strategy
  • Be pro-active in resolving challenging situations whilst driving best fit and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies, and employment legislation
  • To work closely with Key stakeholders across the business and advise them on current legislation, help identify risk and offer solutions
  • Provide HR guidance, support and expertise to managers and employees in line with policy, practice and legislation
  • Develop HR service desk system to ensure timely responses to HR calls and mailbox through to conclusion
  • Continue to work closely with our Employment Law Partners
  • Ensure HR matters are handled promptly, fairly, and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
  • Act as facilitator with managers with Employee Relations Cases eg grievance, disciplinary, absence and capability investigations and hearings developing their capabilities and skills around people management
  • Reduce the risk of Employment Tribunals by working closely with our indemnity insurers
  • Providing timely and accurate management information on all aspects of HR as required
  • Assist with the development of key projects as identified by the business.

Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience managing employee relations cases, preferably in a multi-site, high-volume environment.
